I’m not a shifter/paranormal reading general, but this one intrigued me. I greatly enjoyed it! The storyline was great, it kept me interested. I didn’t even really mind the computer voice all that much.

At first, I found Romi a bit challenging to connect with, and it made it hard to fully dive into the story. But as the plot progressed, I warmed up to her character and admired how she managed to bring balance to her relationship with both Nathan and Tobias. Her journey to finding the love she’d been searching for—between two such different personalities—was compelling and added a surprising depth to the story.

Overall, it’s an intriguing read, with Romi’s character development adding layers to the love triangle. If you’re open to romance with a unique twist, I’d definitely recommend it!

This was a great story. I split the difference in my rating. The storyline was fun and interesting. The virtual narration was horrific and made the story hard to enjoy.
It’s unfortunate the book is ruined by stilted virtual AI narration. I hate giving this book only 3 stars because of narration. The writer doesn’t deserve to take that hit because of crappy AI narration.
I understand it’s cheaper and the only way many author’s can afford to create an audio version of their books for customers.
However, the AI narration is so awful, it ruins the hard work of the writers. AI or virtual narration ruins the listening experience for the customer.
Buy the written version of the book and enjoy it the old fashion way. Trust me on this, it will make a difference in your enjoyment of the material the writer created.

I liked this book as well. Good storyline. Though I wish they would have actual humans narrating this book.

The virtual voice was really bad. Repeated mispronunciation of words really took me out of the story more than a few times. Not to mention pauses in the wrong places and bad pacing in others. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed the ebook, but the audiobook didn’t do the story justice. Hopefully in the future it could be redone with actual voices instead of a virtual voice.
