Pepper Pace's interracial fairytale is the story of Beast, a marine with a destroyed face; and a plus-sized beauty who has identity issues. A lesson learned is that beauty is not just what is shown on the outside. In this romance taken from the Beauty and the Beast fairytale, Pepper makes you question: "Who is the beauty and who is the beast?" This story contains sexually explicit content and language.

I read several reviews that almost made me pass on this book; I'm so glad I read the one that explains the narrator. LaShone Garth did a great job narrating this enjoyable twist on an old classic! This Beast is such a beauty. I look forward to reading more of Pepper Pace.

I love this book beyond words, so when the audio got release I jus had to get it. I wish I did not. This must be her first time narrating a book, cause you can tell. This was just not good to me at all. I wish I could unlisten to it.

Love the book, but not this!

Who ok'd this narrator? This is by far thee worse narration I've heard in my 10yrs of listening to books. I feel that the greatness of this book was pulled down by the monotone voice of the narrator and her lack of talent in voice diversity in the characters. Everybody had the same voice male/female. I'm not trying to be mean in this review but sometimes things have to be said bluntly when they are bad enough. I fell in Love with Pepper Pace and her writing a few years ago and have read and reread several of her books. I also live in Cincinnati and I'm very proud she is from her too. I smile everytime she mentions a place I'm familiar with in our city. Her stories are exciting, loving, gripping emotional rollercoasters that you never want to end.
