There were colonies on Mars, Luna and in the asteroids. Smart machines relieved humans of dangerous, dirty, and repetitive jobs. Virginia succeeds in putting her brain scan in Ellie’s clone, but then her plan goes monstrously awry. Her clone replaces Ellie at her collaring ceremony and tries to stab Roger. She is caught and reveals that Virginia is the one behind the attempts on Roger’s life. Virginia is enslaved alongside her clone, now named “Cunt” by an angry Ellie.
