Oh my goodness I just finished this masterpiece! And where do I begin? This was pure genius! My mind is blown! It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! I was genuinely exhilarated!!! It's been awhile since a book made me this excited!! I can't wait for the rest of the series!

It wasn't the best, and it wasn't the worst. The plot concept was good, but there were so holes. I liked the characters and the slow burn, and the overall story. But, I didn't mesh with the writing. I felt like the author just got a thesaurus and wanted to use fancy words. However, I may try again and read the next one to see if it improves, because there is a lot of potential!

I was thrilled when I saw this on IG and I’m so happy that I listened. The story was absolutely AMZING and while i tend to prefer a duet the narrator did a PHENOMENAL job with the girl voice which was a nice change from some who don’t even inflect their voice! Definitely give this book a listen you won’t regret it!

I enjoyed the life of a vampire as it began for Aria. Understanding her struggles and overcoming them. Also this book helps understand what comes in the next book . Definitely recommend.

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and I loved how has the perfect combo of tension, mystery, romance and spice. Aria and Adrian are one hot vampire couple. The dynamic between these two was delicious. The need, the feel of protectiveness, the tension, the master/sub dynamic, it all kept me listening chapter after chapter. I loved watching Aria grow from a baby vamp to one who can mentor others. I loved her. The story itself has lots of mystery and suspense. The fighting scenes were great and the pace felt just right. The narration by Ryan Pierson was pretty for the most part. He tends to be a bit softer even while doing the male voice. That being said, this is a really good vampire romance story full of suspense, mystery and delicious spice.
