Charlotte is excited about being snowed in at the mountain hotel. It’s a freak snowstorm in the spring that does it. She’s happy because nothing exciting ever happens in her boring little life. The narrative reads and is read like a diary entry or a girl at a slumber party telling her friends what happened. Not my thing. Interesting concept and plot. I just think it would be better with a more immersive way of telling the story. The narrater was good for this approach. I’d be interested in seeing how she does with a typical narrative.
