The Author yes, the Narrator NO!

What didn’t you like about Kathryn Ricks’s performance?

She read ok but her style of reading for the storyline is not gripping! Her reading don't seem to match the stories!!

Maybe if there was another Narrator.

I was excited to listen considering the other reviews but I'm struggling to get through the stories. She toooo dramatic for the stories. I just don't think she should have been chosen as the Narrator.

The stories are just fine but the voice actor....don't waste your money! It's a slow and exaggerated tone that makes it almost unbearable to sit through. The breathy heavy tone is so unnecessary to the stories and it ruins it. It's also quite nasally. This would be a great listen if the voice over was done by someone not trying too hard to exude a certain persona. It's horrible!!!
