Cassidy Coleman is a sassy but rather introverted college sophomore out on her own for the first time ever in her young adult life. At the start of fall semester, she moves into an apartment along with a randomly assigned roommate from her university, Lauren Delaney. Lauren is a an outgoing and athletic economics major one year ahead of Cassidy in school and is just looking for a place to live that doesn’t also double up as a party house on the weekends, and from day one, Cassidy is smitten.

Unfortunately for her, though, things are more than a little awkward between the two of them for the first several weeks of the new semester, with Cassidy too tongue-tied to properly carry on more than a two sentence conversation before needing to flee to her bedroom.
