Of all Club B stories this one tackles topics that hit closest to home for me: acceptance by family and the risk of negligent partners and the impact both of these have on one’s psyche. Though heavy topics the book manages to balance them with levity and sexiness without ever disrespecting the formers impact. The narration does an admirable job further emphasizing emotions and making sure things never feel too heavy.
