I love Leah Brooke’s books. I’ve read all of them over and over. They are all 5 stars!! This book is where modern Desire started. Excellent story! The problem I have, the 1 star for performance, is the narrator. This narrator took away from the story. The way she did the characters voices was simpering, whiny, annoying. The men were creepy, not sexy the way Leah wrote them. Listen to this book for the story, not the narration.

Unfortunately, the lady who did the audio was not the right choice. she made the men sound like whining people, not a dominant man. this book need to be reaudioed. if she does the rest if the series, I won't be ordering. I'm sure she would be a good fit for a first-person reading.
