The love story between Michaela and Liam was a really enjoyable journey to follow. Once they started to fall for each other — and it happened quickly — it was so much fun to see their connection grow. I was definitely rooting for them both. A good story with solid narration.

Desperate Measures is the first book in the Mergers & Acquisitions series. This is the story of Liam and Michaela. They have known each other for years. Michaela had a crush on him in her teenage years. Now they are in an arranged marriage. Will they fall in love? Can their marriage last?
The dual narration by Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning was brilliant. They brought these wonderful characters to life beautifully. I highly recommend listening.

WOW Great book. The story was absolutely Fabulous. It is exciting on its on but the duel voices that narrated it will keep you excited for the next sentence and the action and twists in the plot you will never see coming

I loved this book! Liam’s fierce loyalty and the way he fell for Michaela had me hooked. I feel like it was ultimately an insta-love, Michaela’s long-time crush made their romance feel earned. An arranged marriage that turns into genuine love, sweet, steamy, and impossible to put down!

My only small gripe was that the male narration sounded older than Liam, which occasionally pulled me out of the moment, but the story itself more than made up for it.

I was given a copy for an honest review.
