Quite high actually. Dark, but loving; D/S scenes that are heightened by narration.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dimitri - because his type would be my personal fantasy.

I did listen to it in one sitting!

Like all "type-ical" stories, you sometimes need to take a break between books in the series or they can begin to sound to similar in structure to one another; however, the narrator made me want to listen to both audible books available in this series one-after-the-other!

I fell in love with Alex 1st, then I read Dimitri's story. yes they are good on their own, but they are so much better if you read them one after the other!
Ann Mayburn out did herself inn creating this wonderful world where hard men find their soft spot but with enough sting left to be the fun kinda pain!
...I honestly think I'm half in love with the women too!
