A Forbidden Flame of Interracial Love That Ignites the Soul

In the sleepy coastal town of Seaside Haven, two artistic souls find solace in each other's arms. Noah, a brooding and reclusive writer, and Mia, a free-spirited artist are overwhelmed one fateful night when they give in to their deepest forbidden desires, sparking a flame of emotions neither could have anticipated would burn so bright or hot.

As their connection deepens, so does their desire for one another - and their guilt. They embark on a passionate affair that consumes them both body and soul. But their love is far from simple; it's forbidden by society's standards and could tear them apart. As they navigate the treacherous waters of their secret relationship, they strive to keep the flame alive.

The more time they spend together, the deeper they fall into a world of passion and longing that threatens to consume them both. Will their love be extinguished by the judgmental gaze of others, or will it burn brightly against all odds?

Flame is the tale of a Forbidden interracial Love That Ignites the Soul, a sizzling tale of self-discovery, forbidden love, and the lengths we're willing to go for true connection.

Prepare to be consumed by this page-turner that will leave you breathless until the very end.

I can't remember the name of the characters because I've listened to a couple of books since then. My takeaway from this book is that both characters are annoying because of the constant back and forth. Immediately after each they hook up, one of the characters always regretted what happened. (mostly the male character) One or the other vows it'll never happen again, but the next scene, they're right back at it, only for them to promise it'll never happen again. It's like that for the entire book. It got frustrating after a while.

The characters repeatedly stated that their relationship wasn't accepted by their community and the public, but we never got to see it. Who in the community wasn't accepting their relationship? Was it their neighbors, his publisher, their families? What was being said that made them feel that way? Those were the questions I walked away with. We didn't get to see the outside world, only saw the steamy scenes. I think they made a really good couple. I just wanted to know the characters more outside of their physical interactions.

Overall, it was still a good book. I would encourage people to read and form their own opinion.
