This a short story, with no plot. The main character works for a sex goddess and he is the tax collector. And the tax that he collects is sexual energy. It’s interesting if that’s all you like to listen to, but I like more plot to my stories.

Horatio has to be the luckiest guy in the queendom, if not the entire world. In order to keep the area fertile and happy, he collects a tax in the form of pleasure. These are not just regular human beings, they are all types of mythological beings. And Horatio is ready to try anything to give the centaurs, minotaurs and a very different "arachnid" copious amounts of himself. I absolutely loved this story and found myself laughing at the wit and double entendre of the conversations. Ruan Willow did a fabulous job with the narration. Her dynamic, well-modulated voice supplied just the right amount of emotion and a steady pace as she brought these unique characters to life.

“For the Love of the Goddess” is a short porn-without-plot story. The book blurb pretty much provides all the plot details. Honestly, this was a clever idea for a story, and I wish there had been of story between the various sex scenes. The narrator, Ruan Willow, did an excellent job.

5* for narration, 3* for the story, 4* overall.
