I never meant to be here: tied up in bed next to a serial killer. When I followed him home, I was just playing Nancy Drew. Trying to find out his secret. His kiss was intoxicating, and I thought he was harmless. I was wrong. Nancy Drew never ended up in a basement, handcuffed to a radiator, teased to the edge of insanity, begging to be let go. Soon I stopped begging to be let go. Soon I started begging to be his.

When this started I wasn't sure i wanted to finish it. It is a very different romance than what I have listened to in the past. I wasn't I wanted to listen to something that I could see how there could be a HEA. No spoilers though. You will need to listen for yourself to see how it ends. Carly Robins did an amazing job narrating. This story was brilliantly written!

brilliant

I liked the story. it would have been better with a guy and girl narrating. other than that it was a good story.

Needed a guy narrator

I have not been enjoying books lately, and I could not understand why. It is because I was not getting stimulated. This book kept me on my toes, turned me on and made me question my morals and sanity. I loved it!!

Are you effing kidding me!?? ♥️♥️

I enjoyed this how do you. It was easy to follow and the story was quick. It was predictable and a little blasé at times. If you enjoy a story where there's a dark obsessive need for a woman who has no other choice but to submit with out much work from her captor and does so quickly than this is the story for you. There were points in the story where I found it needed a little more explanation. Then narrator was good. I just enjoy a little more dark in my dark reads.

Good if you don't look to deep.

To understand and appreciate this book, I believe a person needs a few specific qualities. This is one of the first books I've read with some real Stockholm syndrome seemingly introduced. Even so, I loved it. The characters had such darkness in them and the way they relieved it in one another was a long, hard journey to understanding. The end didn't wow me as much as I had hoped it would and although I wouldn't call it a cliffhanger, there was a lot of unfinished business and I have so many questions. I suppose those questions are still there for a reason though, for the reader to answer themselves. I would definitely recommend this one to others and I plan to read Mine next.

Excellent, but not for everyone
