Good book with a surprising plot twist. Would like another sequel to read/listen to Brooks and Kelly’s story.

Kenzie is finally broken... her abusive husband and his powerful family have forced her to do the unthinkable.... seek refuge with the Knights MC - but will they be willing to help her or is she destined for a life of being hunted... or worse. Beau had instantly and instinctively reacted to Kenzie when the Club first rescued her... but the timing was off because she wasn't available to claim and he let her go to have a happy life... but when he saw the ravaged, thin and abused Kenzie in his Clubhouse eighteen months later something inside him cracked.

They were both left vulnerable from their tragic pasts but through patience, passion, determination, trust and love they rebuilt, restored and forged a shiny new future for themselves. However, it wasn't going to be easy as there was a lot going against them and there would be danger, drama and plenty of angst.... but time, chemistry and love is a powerful weapon that can defeat even the deadliest of enemies. But Beau has to tread carefully when it comes to sex because he's demanding and likes to be in charge and he's sure Kenzie's going to need careful handling..... however it turns out they're just perfect for each other.

I loved this listen.... a shy, broken, abused and hunted Heroine who, under the right care, blossomed and grew into a confident, strong and self-assured member of a brotherhood of Bikers who protect, honor and care for one another like one big tight family unit. But it was the chemistry between Beau and Kenzie that jumped out and grabbed me.... followed closely by the touching, tender and h.o.t sex scenes. The writing is flawless, the story is gripping, the characters are loveable, the interaction between all the cast is wonderfully intense and the dual POV narration is very easy on the ears.

Worth a credit? A handsome, sexy, dirty talking, leather-clad Alpha Biker with a beard, man bun and tattoos who's part of a caring MC that rescues damsels in distress, an Author who has written a powerful and emotional story about overcoming obstacles, moving forward and forging your own HEA and the Chapters are all vividly transposed into mental images by the two talented narrators. Creditworthy.... Hell YEAH.

Loved the series but the last book let me down with unfinished ending. Did Kelly ever get better? Did Mackinsee ever find out what hat happened to her friend? Need another book that Hunter and missing friend find each other and Kelly gets better. So I only have 4 stars for this book. Left me feeling unfinished.
