Not much story, either. Narrator did the best they could with a serial installment of something unsure if it wants to be paranormal (some snippets of poorly described magic), erotica (not graphic enough), romance (not enough relationship or character building) or maybe sword & sorcery? There’s definitely some dashing around the jungle dealing with some tribal skirmishes.

REALLY? While the first book was funny, as the series went on it got sick. By the last book I was so ready for the end. The ending turned out to be stupid. I mean, knowing the way Azlato,( the supposed most powerful warrior-king of the grassland people) & his men treated women, who would actually believe that the grassland people would accept what came back as their leader. I'm so glad I got this series for free, because now I know I never want to read, listen or even think about this type of book again. It was free so I tried it, I don't like it & now I need it gone from my library.
