I get the feeling that the narrators for these erotic romance shorts are staff players who are given a certain number of book scripts to complete and then just take the script and read it.
The narrator in this story abuses this text, tonal monotony, missed inflection that destroys the intent or communicative quality of dialogue, phonetic pronunciation of words. It's just a mess and it makes one have to grit one's teeth to get through it and, sadly, this story wasn't worth the effort.
