Love the way the characters are developed into a great story. You can guess... but it's not predictable. Steamy, erotic and full of secrets. Highly recommended.

I had debated finishing this book after I vegan listening. I loved the characters of the first 3 so much that it was hard to start fresh with this one. I am so glad I continued listening! I absolutely loved it!

So I'm a M. Never fan and so far she is the only Author that can surprise me with the unexpected. Great Narrating and story.

There is something about this series that just keeps me coming back for more. After listening to Ellie and Kayne, I decided to jump into CJ and Tara's story! CJ works with Kayne and Tara is Ellie's little sister. These two have an attraction, but there are a few reasons they should not be together. First, CJ thinks he is too old for the girl, but moreover, she is the sister-in-law of his best friend! While they truly are a match, there are secrets, and Tara's is so big, it may be the literal death of them. Coming off the suspense and excitement of Ellie and Kayne, I was really l looking forward to this book. The building of their relationship is incredibly steamy, but I wanted the meat of the story sooner! Once the thrills began, I then became invested in the couple and couldn't wait to hear the outcome. With cameos by Kayne and Jett and a twist I didn't see coming, I finally got to my happy place and enjoyed the story.

Sam Crowley and Muffy Newton really were one of the main reasons I enjoyed the book. They are a fantastic team, and bring out the best and worst in the characters. CJ and Tara each had a variety of emotions each on different parts of the scale, and this team could make you feel each one. I loved their performance.

Can I fill this review up with just the word favorite?

If you didn’t guess, I loved this book the most of the series. What started out as such a light hearted, forbidden, and dirty romance between CJ and Tara soon turned into a dark and raging angry tale of an underworld that had my stomach in knots and my jaw on the ground. I shed tears for these characters and I don’t do that lightly. It was very unexpected.

Sam Crowley and Muffy Newtown were superb. Perfect choices for this book.
