New York City Fashion Executive Peter Delmonico has had a rough life. Physically abused by his father as a child, and mentally abused by his wife as an adult, he sees no choice but to let his inner demons guide him through life. Obsessed with photography for as long as he can remember, he takes a detour one afternoon into NYC’s Bryant Park, where he snaps a photo of a beautiful woman who bumps into him, and then kisses him, only to vanish into the crowd as mysteriously as she appeared. Determined to bring true love into his life, Peter sets out on a journey throughout Manhattan to find her, his only real lead the photo he took of her in his camera.

Missed Connection is an intense erotic thriller filled with twists and turns, a raunchy, funny, sexy, satirical, and somewhat diabolical look at life in Manhattan through the eyes of a damaged man who only wants to love, and be loved.

wow the narration was perfection. I loved the emotion and all the different voices they both did. the story was fun but some of the character descriptions were unnecessary, especially for a character that just had a small part in it. other than that, it was fun!

amazing narration!

I read the book and really wanted to re-read it because I felt like I missed so very important key information in the beginning. The author suggested I listen to the audio book and I'm glad he did. There brought the story to a different level. I absolutely loved how the readers really got into the story. It was amazing! I would definitely recommend 10/10 stars for sure.

I like how animated they all where with the character. While listening to it, it was like I was watching a movie in a way.

The male voice actor is INCREDIBLE. Listening to this book had me entirely rethinking my conclusions from reading the book first. The only way to describe this book is complete and utter WHIP LASH, every corner of this book had me putting it down and staring at the wall in complete shock. Michael Laimo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I absolutely loved how descriptive each scene was. The plot development was strong. You can envision each setting Peter finds himself in, making this book an easy page-turner as you journey through this twisted, erotic thriller with him. I only wish there was stronger character development and back story for Lily and Greg. I have many questions and am hoping that Missed Connection is just the beginning of Peter’s new love journey.

You feel like you’re in Peter’s brain, plotting what the next best move is right along side him.

Missed Connection is a fast-paced, unsettling ride through loneliness, obsession, and the fear of what we can’t control. Peter’s story is tense, emotional, and full of twists that kept me hooked until the end. The male narrator did a fantastic job bringing Peter’s inner struggles to life and really pulled me deeper into the story. If you enjoy dark psychological thrillers that leave you thinking afterward, this is definitely worth a listen.
