I’d felt a need for the first time in my life when I called Liam Myers to give my condolences.

Liam was a cute rich guy I knew from college, but now he's a millionaire. Being rich doesn't go to his head, but for the many ladies he's been with, it does. In school, they all bragged about being in bed with Mr. Myers. I heard the stories but I was just a friend who he called when he needed help getting rid of them. Yet, I was keenly aware of the evident.

And Liam watched me...across the table, his eyes devoured me like every morsel he bit on his plate.

Listening to Carrie and Liam’s novella brought to life the dichotomy of male vs female in the aspects of mind, perception and how every action has a reaction intermingled cause and effect..

I would recommend this to anyone whom loves Just Bae’s style of writing and sense of humour.
Jessica Rogers slipped into the male/female dialogue with ease.

An enjoyable listen.

Carrie and Liam had been good friends since college. When the pandemic sent their respective social and dating lives into a tailspin, Carrie proposed a “friends with benefits” arrangement. My, my Carrie, that got Liam’s attention! Beautifully written and narrated, My Friend Got Me: Liam is short, sweet, hot, sexy and sure to please!

The narrator did a great job with the material, honestly that was what kept my interest but the storyline was more for millennials than my taste. I hope to hear more from Jessica, but It’s a hard pass on the Bae series.
