Prequels and Sequels 2 is exactly as the name states, a collection of five stories from the Outdoor Fun Series that were left with the idea that there was more to come or something that led to the current story. Four of the stories are continuations, and one develops a backstory. Each story follows the theme established in the original. One picks up half an hour later and one a year in the future. The other two fall somewhere in the middle. The lone prequel recounts something that happened years in the past. The stories will make sense if you haven’t read the originals, but some references won’t.

I enjoyed this project as it brought me back to more characters I hadn’t visited in some time and allowed me to continue the storylines and possibly tie up some loose ends. These five stories weren’t the only ones that set the expectation for more or that hint at a juicy event in the past. These were simply the next five I chose for this round. That means this won’t be the last time I publish in this spin-off series.

The five new stories are Never Assume, which takes place a year later and is the sequel to #84 – The Waiting Game. More Secrets takes place half an hour later and is the sequel to #145 – Stepmom’s Secrets. Spouse in the House is the follow-up to #76 – Beer Pong, and it occurs three months later. A Walk in the Park is the backstory for #54 – Touring the Town and is set several years in the past. World Tour continues the story from #83 – The Post-Game Show, resuming the action the next day.
