If you want to listen to a book that makes your blood boil then this is the BOOK. I understand that this is book #3 in a series. I will NOT be reading more about "LISS"
I enjoyed Clara Bayard's talent in writing which DID invoke strong feelings with me. BUT, the impulse to reach into the story and strangle the living day lights out of the lead female character (Liss) made me SOOOO frustrated that I wish I could THROW the book across the room. (Which I couldn't, due to it being an audio story & I was driving) Liss had the LOVE of a rising rock star but "HER" insecurities and self loathing made her run from him. (more than onece) BUT the wench would cut him loose.. She keep leading the poor bastard to feel there was a "chance" for them to be together .. If she REALLY loved him & but, needed to work on finding herself.. WHY THE HECK torture the poor guy?? She attracted other men so cut him loose.. I think being a so-called BBW is an excuse and it is cruel to play with anyone's heart when they offer it to you (over & over & over again).. I would appreciate a person that expressed affection to me and would be honest & respectful enough to be honest and leave them alone if I couldn't return the affection.. However, if you like getting fired up from reading an emotion story...This one is for you..

Another quick read. In Book 3, we find Liss has left the tour to focus on herself. She realizes she can't be happy in a relationship when she's not happy with herself....so very true. Liss is having nightmares trying to deal with the fact that she left Joe. Then, just as she's figuring herself out, he's back in town. Will she be able to be Liss and Joe's girlfriend? Can she be with a rockstar without losing herself? Can Joe forgive her for walking out on him?

I'm always hoping for a happy ending, but in this case, I was really rooting for Liss to find out who she is and what she wants to be before being with anyone else. Book 3 wasn't my favorite out of the Joe/Liss stories.

This short book is part onew of a trilogy - each book no more than two hours. Though there's lots of emphasis on the heroine's insecurities over her weight, there's also hope in finding love. A unique rocker romance, this love story is sweet.
