During a chance encounter Cassidy finds out that her former childhood friend Lucas is recently single and looking for a place to stay, so she quickly offers up her house, while secretly hoping he will realize that he had the right girl to begin with.

After just getting out of painful break-up Lucas takes refuge at Cassidy's place to lick his wounds. He has no intention of getting involved with anyone any time soon, but holding himself back becomes harder than he anticipated.

from the title, I assumed this would be a straight to business quickie. tbh, that's what I was looking for.

but there was more plot than expected, closer to an abbreviated second chance romance/hea than a quick steamy story. also, the kink you'd expect from the title is technically present, but we really don't see it addressed in a hot way?

the writing seemed to be rather poor and there was awkward/distracting diction throughout.

Narrator sounds too brusque and injects aggression into words that are neutral by context. When doing male voices she shout reads which is ear pain inducing and annoying.

Narrator switches from an adult to a child's voice in places I do not believe was necessary. And sometimes yells for not reason. The story itself is not bad but its predictable.
