best story in the series so far! the performance was great along with the story itself.

No spoilers. So much to say but I will try to condense. Story was fast moving, BDSM, mystery, tears, angst, lies, deceit, voyeurism,humor, and drama.
MMC was arrogant, manipulative, a Dom, kinky and always wanted to play (sex). Shade is the worst, a manwhore who hid his proclivities from Lily.

You can twist a story to make everything sound right but the bottom line is the FMC is punished (BDSM), MMC blatantly talks about his sexual experience, with club members and she has to apologize. Just NO!
Lily was sensitive, a Submissive, abusive childhood, needed counseling and was always apologizing for nothing.
As in the previous books according to the original 8 the female needs 6 markers (sex) to be part of the Last Riders MC club for everyday orgies. According to the MMC it’s “their way or no way” the FMC has to change her views on sex.
Harsh to hear “I’m no saint and I enjoyed all the women here in the club all night long but they were not you” that statement doesn’t mean she has to accept and welcome it not he will blackmails her to get what he wants. br />So hurtful! Because of Lily’s attraction to Shade I fell she could have had more of a backbone and be the first to not accept their lifestyle, Lily’s sister Beth lied, choose the club lifestyle pleasures, and deceived her. Lily is smart and could accept things for what they are. Beth hid her lifestyle because she was embarrassed of it. It’s perfection when an author’s writing can evoke so many emotions in a story.
I believe the MC brothers can only have sex if they have an audience otherwise they need the little blue pill. Shade’s redemption was accepting Lily despite what her mom did to her when she was young. >

I was hesitant to listen to this book, since the summary sounded like it was going to be pretty dark and depressing. I'm so glad I did it anyway. It's such a beautiful story. I'm still choked up!
