I absolutely love the sweet series by Maya Banks. I've read them all and now that I've found them in a audiobook I'm listening to them all. I love Damen and Serena's story and if you haven't read or listened to them yet I highly recommend that you add these to your library or wish list for future purchase.

This book is very sexually explict, which when it's done right, and in my opinion it was very right, is good. If strong sexual content bothers you then it's not for you. Otherwise, it's well worth a credit or the purchase price. I loved the first book in this series. Liked this one even better and I'm looking foward to book 3!!!!!!!

II really like how each Dom is completely different in these books. Maya Bank does a great job in creating her characters. However, that being said, Serena gave Damien total submission. WTF! No way on this planet! 24/7 submission is humanly impossible for an independent woman like Serena, but Banks creates a pretty good fantasy. The characters seem soooo believable too. Great Job... Great Smex... Worth the Credit. Not a buy, but a free credit.

So after the first book I wasn't expecting much out of this one and I wasn't disappointed. out of the 6+ hours of the book, 4 of them were descriptive BDSM. These characters were even less believable than the first. I have been around the world three times already, and never have I met a guy like Damian or a woman like any described here. The man who wishes for his wife to be a sex slave is not normal, and the woman who wishes to be nothing more than a slave is even more rare. What is realistic is a woman who wants a strong, responsible, assertive man who knows what he wants and takes it; and a man wants a woman who is strong, self-reliant, yet tender and kind woman who loves and supports him and allows him to lead her. A master slave relation never works for more than a short time at best and almost always ends badly.
