Oh my gosh! That cliffhanger! I’m still trying to comprehend what just happened. I have been waiting for Declan‘s story for almost two years. Next to Carter, he is my favorite Cross brother. He’s so opposite of Carter, but at the same time he is just like him because of his brutality. I always thought of Declan being the kindest of the brothers, if you can even call it that.

It’s hard to say much more about the book without giving anything away. All I will say is that someone is betraying the brothers, and it’s not who you would expect. I can’t even guess.

The narrators did a pretty good job. I still prefer Jacob Morgan, who voiced Carter, but there’s not very many who has a talent like Jacob. His voice is just as smooth as butter. I thought Ramona did a great job.

I cannot wait for Book 2!
