In the foreword the author states that she’s wanting this book to delve deeper into the emotional impact of swinging on the couple, individually and together. I think she’s achieved her goal. The story feels like it bridges the gap between swinger tell-all stories and swinger erotica.

The writing is pretty good, and I can see development in Hothorne’s writing style since earlier stories I've read. No complaints there.

Where this experience falls short is in the narration. Had I not had a name to place to the voice, I could have been convinced that this was an AI-narrated story. It just didn’t flow well and kept pulling me out of the story. Part way through I just stopped the narration and completed the story on Kindle.

A very dirty, very wanton quick story that definitely had me squirming in my seat. I do like how Lori and Joe go about exploring an alternative lifestyle - research, discuss, set boundaries, and take their time - and how they stick to their agreement, despite tempting offers to change it up. It is loving and really hot. There's some MF, FF, and MFM fun to enjoy.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator, Misty Diamond, is OK. She really only does one voice, Lori, well. The others are too squeaky.
