Although this is a self contained HEA quickie, all five short books relate to insta-mates from a dark realm. I liked short No 1 better, because there was at least a little more flirting before the get together. The other shorts also have a little more plot, which helps engage me. This one goes from “Hi, how are you” to sealing the deal in public without batting an eye. Madison from short 1 explains the other world and its customs in huge info dumps that make me feel like these would have been great 5 hr novellas.
