They don't know I'm a girl.

They all look at me and see a boy. A prince.

Their kind purchase humans like me—male or female—for their lustful desires.

And, when they storm into our kingdom to buy my sister, I intervene to protect her. I make them take me too.

The plan is to escape with my sister whenever we find a chance.

How am I to know our prison will be the most fortified place in their kingdom?

I'm supposed to stay on the sidelines. The one they have no real use for. The one they never mean to buy.

But then, the most important person in their savage land—their ruthless beast king—takes an interest in the "pretty little prince."

How do we survive in this brutal kingdom, where everyone hates our kind and shows us no mercy?

And how does someone, with a secret like mine, become a lust slave?

Book two of the Beasts of Wrath and Madness series.

This cannot be enjoyed as a standalone, as it is a direct continuation of book one.

For mature listeners.

What really drew me into this book was the deep friendship between the king and his friend, who felt more like family than anything else. They stood by each other no matter what. I also loved the bond between the sisters—it was unique, strong, and full of support as they faced what I’d call the darkness. There is so much depth in this story that it’s a definite must-read, but fair warning: it is dark… very dark.

Good continuation from book one. The characters continued to be well developed. The story could’ve been better presented if a female and male voice were used for the characters.

Good story with strong yet vulnerable characters.
