In the second entry in Heather Killough-Walden's Big Bad Wolf series, when alpha werewolf Malcolm Cole encounters Claire St. James, he's determined to have her as his mate-even if one of the world's most powerful alphas has already staked a claim on her. Contains mature themes.

This series is really complex. The women in the series overlap in the progression of the tale. Can't wait to start the next one. I think the narrator is doing a fine job as well. Those accents are authentic enough for me!

Wow, I am hooked!

Where does The Strip rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It rates in the top ten of all the audio books I've listened to so far.

What did you like best about this story?

The way in which the different characters were blended to actually seem alive. The way that it was infused with the different major attractions on the Strip of Vegas.

t

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

What Happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas.

Fantastic Wolf Shifters Live

As I type this I do get why a woman author would write about torturing a woman character. It’s not my cup of tea or what I dream of. Strong confident men, yes plz, being dominated by one or needing rescuing by one, no thanks.
Pretty good ending though, if the rest of the stories descriptions in this series were about the “team” put together at the end and their exploits then I’d continue the series, but it appears it’s mostly more of the same, 2 characters finding their mates and deciding if they want that mate after having negative feelings about them. Sigh…

Good ending

Would you listen to The Strip again? Why?

Might listen to this again. The series is starting to pick up the pace but for some reason this narrator just drags for me. I can see him doing another story better or maybe it's the director. I'm still on the fence if I'll try other in the series.

okay experience better then the first book

Would you consider the audio edition of The Strip to be better than the print version?

Yes! I love the different accents utilized throughout the story.

What did you like best about this story?

Malcolm finding out that his mate "wanted him". He didn't just steal her.

Which scene was your favorite?

The motorcycle crash scene as well as Charlie hurting Seth twice in the car.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The Bands of the Wolf

Any additional comments?

I'm eagerly anticipating listening to the rest of the series.
