I was so touched by this Audible book. It captured me from the beginning. It is about two lives that have never known love or affection. A tender love story which gives the reader a glimpse into the lives of two lost souls who find an emotional connection in the autumn of their lives.

I am a fan of Robin Schone, through and through. This story is exquisitely painful and redemptive. It is an unusual story as far as genre expectations go, and I love it so much for that. Megan and Muhammad are both painfully vulnerable, and they circle each other delicately.
This story is intelligent, psychologically mature and beautifully crafted. Robin is a genius, and Traci accentuates the pain and pleasure and beauty masterfully. I will listen again and again.
