I have loved Poppy’s spunk since book one. Poppy and Emmets story was funny and heartfelt. Such a great end to a series

Where to start? this is hilarious. I'm in love with Poppy myself. I found myself quoting parts to my husband because of the laughs and telling about funny scenes to my co workers. and they all laughed. That's not easy when you work in the court system like I do. Bijou Hunter has the absolute best sense of humor. This story is told with sweetness and spunk and snark without making it sound weird since it starts when Poppy is just 16. Emmett is a hunka hunka burning love and is dedicated to waiting for his smart mouth lady love to become legal. The romance is so gentle and patient considering her virginal 18 yr old self. Poppy is so dang beautiful and confident. I wish I had been that way at that age. I can't say enough good things about this book. This is my favorite in the series and so worth the credit I had to pay because Audible messed up my code. But so worth it. Thank you Ms. Hunter. You are the best and I am not worthy.....

I have so enjoyed this series. These women are strong and sassy and speak their mind. If you don't like a strong willed woman this is not for you. The narration was great and I can't wait for more by Isabella Starr. The story keeps you listening and the narration just keeps you enthralled. You will not be sorry with this book or this series. My only complaint - this is the last book in the series.

For all fans of the Rawkfist MC series, the book for which we have long awaited is here: Poppy's story. From the first chapter of the first book, I have been completely in awe of Poppy and her abrasive personality. I love every member of Poppy's family, but she is definitely my favorite. From her befriending and defending of the three nerdiest guys in high school, to her continual razing of her sisters' father (long story), to her complete lack of caring about pleasing others, Poppy is the girl I want to be when I grow up. Although she is only 18 at the beginning of the story, Poppy is the most mature, old soul teenager around. To me, that is why I have no trouble accepting that she could find the love of her life at such a young age. This is the story of how that love came about as Poppy leads Emmett on a wild chase.

Although Poppy and her family are the glue of the story, Emmett plays an equally important role. He comes with a lot of baggage from his childhood and from a stint in prison, but he never doubts that he can be the man Poppy needs him to be. He messes up a few times along the way, but the story really has very little angst or unnecessary drama. Of course, it wouldn't be a Bijou Hunter story with out LOTS of comedy, and I spent more than half of the book laughing to the point of tears. I still get a goofy grin as I am typing this review. I have absolutely loved the entire series, and I am incredibly sad to say goodbye to the Rawkfist MC. I am actually praying for it to continue with Justice, Journey and Poppy's kids...................

Isabella Starr narrates all three books in the series, and she handles Poppy's irreverent, kick-ass personality with aplomb. Starr's performance is flawless, and she differentiates well between characters. She adds just the perfect dry tone to Poppy's burns to make them all the funnier. The combination of Hunter's prose and Starr's narration makes for a delightfully entertaining audiobook.
