It wasn’t badly written nor was the narration bad. In fact she did the sex justice but that’s what my issue was. It’s was all sex. I’m not saying I don’t buy romance novels for the sex scenes, I do. But I need a story and buildup and tension and mystery and this book lost me at about two thirds in because it was pretty much all sex. And you better be as obsessed with anal because it’s the focal point. I’m gonna check out this authors other works as it wasn’t badly written just not for me.

Amber Beard has a nice voice and good story telling voice. Her voice added you in the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No! Listen to chapters at different time but, when I did come back to the story it was as I never left.

and good fun in almost every sexual scene imaginable. Except BDSM.. That would have improved it. It would have been nicer if the narrator had more than one mood; breathless enthusiasm. Not a waste of time.

I'm on my third listen and it's still an interesting listen as it was the first time. There's something appealing about a married couple rediscovering one another and finding new ground within their marriage.

Amber Beard's voice works well with Selena Kitt's words. Her voice has a certain weight to it that lends itself well to erotic readings. I love the inflections she adds. You actually feel like you're listening to something sexy.
