New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Tina Folsom presents: Venice, early 1800s.

Isabella Tenderini, a wealthy merchant's widow, rescues a stranger from drowning in one of Venice's canals. And how does the man repay her selfless act? By kissing her - her, a respectable woman.

Not only is Raphael di Santori grateful for his life being saved, he would also like to thank his rescuer very intimately - more intimately than decorum allows. But then, Raphael has never been one to play by the rules - as a vampire he doesn't have to.

His vulnerable, blind trust rewarded when she pulls the trigger.

Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?

Definitely, Raphael! There was a sinful sensuality about his voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When she had the gun trained on him and he asked her to make it quick, because he couldn't live without her love.

Any additional comments?

I read these books a long time ago, but the audiobook made it even more enjoyable this time round! Thank you!

Sensual, thrilling, honourable scoundrel

I have read this entire series and love them. So imagine my happiness when these books were realized on audible and with Eric's silkier than sin voice doing the narration. Oh My!!!

The books are novellas set during the 1800's in Venice, Italy. A group of vampire males are living a life of wealth and carnal pleasure on the fringes of Venice society and trying desperately to escape the prosecution of a group of individuals known only as the Guardians of the Holy Water. Raphael is a vampire that is rescued by Isabella when someone pushed him into the canal and he slowly starts to drown. Isabella rescues him and Raphael is instantly attracted to her. But because Isabella is a respectable widow, she doesn’t want anything to do with him that is until Raphael sneaks into her bedroom late one night and desires began to boil. Because this is a novella, the story moves at a faster pace but that don’t mean it isn’t a well written story. It is indeed a good story and Eric’s
voice is like butter, so smooth and rich. WOW!!!

Warning: this book contains highly sexual charged scenes. If this is something that you do not enjoy reading than stay clear, this is not the book for you.

Short but Steamy

I’m not going to lie I picked this audiobook purely because Eric G Dove was the narrator. I love his voice, ok I have a crush on the man’s voice BUT this story was really good! And so HOT! Steamy scenes everywhere. This is almost a perfect PNR, had it been full length it would be perfect.

HOT HOT HOT HISTORICAL PNR NOVELLA

Wow. This book was really good the first time I read it in ebook format. This time, I listened to the audio and, Holy Moly, talk about dirty. It's a hot kind of dirty, but dirty none the less. I enjoyed the journey with Raphael and Isabella. I enjoy period pieces and this one fit the bill... with a bit of extra goodness included. Well done to the author and the narrator.

Good book!

This was just sex. No plot. At least not an original one. The sex scenes were pretty well written, but were plentiful.
