Ashley waited for the Queen to arrive in her private chamber. In doing so, she couldn’t help but be amazed at her reflection in the full length body mirror. “It has to be a dream,” she whispered, eying her pointed ears. “No dream,” a woman’s voice responded, and when Ashley turned she gasped from the sight of the most beautiful woman she’d ever laid eyes on… wearing a red dress.

“Your Majesty…” she whispered, suppressing a desire to kneel down, so instead she bowed her head.

“Precious,” the Queen acknowledged her with a smile.

"Why has this happened to me?” Ashley asked as she did her best to ignore the attraction she felt for the Queen.

“Let me first welcome you, Ashley… My name is Rhea and for the time being and I’m the Queen here… and this really is your new reality.”

“I see,” Ashley replied, deciding to change the subject. “You have a huge place here…”

“There are over two hundred bedrooms…”

"Bedrooms…? Don’t these wings get in the way?” Ashley asked with a smirk.

"In about a few hours they'll be strong enough for you to retract them into your back,” Rhea stated.
