Jason Wild is CEO of Wild Innovation, advising leaders and companies on strategy, innovation, culture, and AI, after senior leadership roles at Microsoft, Salesforce, and IBM. He's led innovation projects in 39 countries for clients ranging from NATO and the City of Rio de Janeiro to Disney and Repsol, from Singapore's government to Walmart and Zara. Most organizations are okay at what to innovate. Few are good at scaling it. Jason has spent twenty years studying why and doing the work. As Global Vice President at Microsoft, he led strategy for an elite innovation team. At Salesforce, he built Ignite—an award-winning global team that grew from a dozen people to hundreds across 16 countries. Fortune, Gartner, UC Berkeley, and McKinsey all studied what they did differently. At IBM, Jason led customer innovation worldwide and helped launch several multi-billion-dollar growth businesses. Jason is co-author of Genius at Scale: How Great Leaders Drive Innovation with Dr. Linda A. Hill of Harvard Business School. Harvard Business Review Press will publish it in March 2026. His 2022 Harvard Business Review article "What Makes a Great Leader?" was selected for HBR's 100th Anniversary Special Edition. Genius at Scale is endorsed by Brené Brown and Tan Su Shan, CEO of DBS Group, often recognized as the world's best bank. The book is dedicated to leaders who unleash genius in their organizations and communities. Jason now advises CEOs and their teams on the leadership practices that help innovations cross boundaries and create lasting impact. He speaks worldwide on transformation, leadership, and AI. He earned his MBA from Emory University and graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago. He's fluent in Spanish and lives in the New York area.
