Molly is a teacher, author, editor and academic based in Scotland, UK, with a deep passion for championing children’s literature. With a strong belief in the power of reading and storytelling, she encourages young readers to discover confidence, curiosity and a sense of possibility through books. She holds an M.A. in Art History and an M.Ed. in Children’s Literature and has written nine award-winning picture books. Drawing inspiration from real-life experiences, Molly crafts stories that are honest, gentle and celebratory, highlighting the beauty and values found in everyday life. Collaborating with four talented illustrators, she brings her stories vividly to life. Many of her books are loosely inspired by family members and friends who have played meaningful roles in her journey. Through her writing, Molly aims to teach children the importance of kindness, teamwork, empathy, and the courage to do what is right lessons she hopes will shape how they engage with the magical world around them.
