I loved everything about this entire series. The writing, the performance, the SPICE 🔥! Check your trigger warnings- this one is DARK, lots of cnc/dub con, as well as a long list of other kinks/tropes, but the author cooked it to perfection and delivered it on a silver platter and let me tell you- I ate it up!

This series had me at the edge of me seat. I most definitely would recommend to anyone who is interested in dark romance.

I found the premise unique and fresh in the first book. The extreme gaslighting was novel, which made for an engaging listen.

This is a dark... I don't want to say 'romance' because it never felt romantic for me. BUT if you're looking for a dark 'romance' (horror) with lots of detailed sex scenes... this may be for you! I was caught up in it pretty quickly however and on the edge of my seat more than once. I'm not really an easily triggered person, but in a few spots... I got a little queasy... IF YOU'RE easily triggered you may want to avoid this series.
I did have to take a pause book 3 before it started a secondary story in book 4; since it had the same narrators. But was doable that way.
In my dark romances, I always like an emotional connection, even if it's a dubious situation. These men said they were obsessed, but if you are after a woman's soul, the way to that is with an emotional connection, eye contact, and general concern for their interest and well being. However, it was worth the credit.
ACTUALLY the ending really smoothed it out and was a nice HEA considering.
I can't believe the FMC's weren't mentally certifiable after dealing with these brothers... but it is fiction.
I do wish the narrators had younger voices to reflect the ages of the characters involved. It might have helped.
Again, if you like DARK, this is the series for you :)
