Thee Tasha Marie has a new fan and her name is Davon.

I did not go into Surrender to Me expecting to be this invested but Legend Waters had other plans. This man is commanding, intentional and the kind of fictional man that makes you put the book down just to collect yourself. My first book boyfriend of 2026 and we are not even halfway through the year. He set the bar high and I appreciate him for it.

The spice was everything I needed and more. I want to be clear about that. It was not just heat for the sake of heat. It landed every single time.

What I also loved is that this story did not overcomplicate itself. It knew exactly what it was, gave you everything it promised and kept it moving. Sometimes that is exactly what you need from a book and this delivered.

Short, sweet, spicy and an absolute good time. If you have been on the fence about Thee Tasha Marie, let this be the one that pushes you over.

I will be back for more.

Loved the storyline! The book gave Indecent Proposal vibes mixed with Fifty Shades of Grey. Beyond the 🌶🌶🌶🌶 the story had a carnal yet spiritual perspective (this is my take away).
Will you surrender to a total stranger to secure the life you want? The FMC was faced with that choice not knowing what was on the other side of the offer! it speaks to blind faith and trust in the unknown.
As always, Lauryn Nichols delivered👏🏾.
