The story is not bad.. It's a quick and easy shifter read. BUT...the narrator killed this book for me. He is so robotic and the pacing he uses is very hard to follow. It was so choppy and jarring. There was no emotion so it made it kind of funny to listen to. If you want to enjoy this book...read it...do not listen to the audiobook.

Couldn't make it through chapter one. The story looks good but it was torture listening.

Poor narration

The story itself was okay but unfortunately it was ruined by the performance. It was very difficult to get into the story because Mr. More it's narration was so off putting. Much of the dialogue ran together so there were quite a few times you couldn't differentiate the various characters. There weren't very many emotions . other than anger, frustration, etc. The tender moments were nonexistent emotionally. even the joking between brothers couldn't be separated except by dialogue. I will not be listening to the rest of the series. I will just read it instead.

The story plot is difficult to follow, it moves too quickly and leaves gaps in yhe storyline. The narrator makes it worse
He has a raspy, somewhat lispy voi e, bit reads the entire story as one long unending sentence. unable to distinguish between paragraphs or characters. I was able to finish reading it with my Kindle app bit do not recommend this version at all.

I got through about 20 minutes before I had to quit. I gave 3 stars for story and overall only because I didn’t hear enough to get an opinion and I hate to give negative reviews. I’d imagine the narrator would be good with sci-fi or maybe nonfiction but for a romance he is absolutely awful.
