10 Blind Dates

Sophie wants one thing for Christmas - a little freedom from her overprotective parents. So when they decide to spend Christmas in South Louisiana with her very pregnant older sister, Sophie is looking forward to some much needed private (read: make-out) time with her long-term boyfriend, Griffin. Except it turns out that Griffin wants a little freedom from their relationship. 

Cue devastation. 

Heartbroken, Sophie flees to her grandparents' house, where the rest of her boisterous extended family is gathered for the holiday. That's when her nonna devises a (not so) brilliant plan: Over the next 10 days, Sophie will be set up on 10 different blind dates by different family members. Like her sweet cousin Sara, who sets her up with a hot guy at an exclusive underground party. Or her crazy aunt Patrice, who signs Sophie up for a lead role in a living nativity. With a boy who barely reaches her shoulder. And a screaming baby. 

When Griffin turns up unexpectedly and begs for a second chance, Sophie feels more confused than ever. Because maybe, just maybe, she's started to have feelings for someone else.... Someone who is definitely not available. This is going to be the worst Christmas break ever...or is it?

Very cute read!

I’ve like everything by this author. Each book is different, and this one was just what I needed. It was lighthearted, funny, and All About family.

Nice young adult story

This engaging coming of age story centers on family and friendships as well as romance. I enjoyed picturing the tableaus of date disasters and a busy extended family. I would have preferred the addition of a little bit about college majors and career ideas with this age group since college choice was woven into the story.

Cute story

I liked the story line and support the extended family showed. It was fun & easy to listen to.

I enjoyed this book so much. It was refreshing to have a wholesome enjoyable book. I laughed out loud multiple times and truly enjoyed the characters. So well written!

This book was really sweet, fun and enjoyable to listen to. I loved how the story is light and delicious. I strongly recommend this to anyone who wants a fun time with a great read/listen.
