Engaging and enjoyable!

Loved the voice actor! Very engaging and fun story, I enjoyed it even as an advanced learner (C1-C2). Bought the Kindle PDF too. Highly recommend!

Excellent!

Great story and narration. Enjoyed reading a few chapters at a time and then listening with audible for a second read.

A good supplement

My one complaint is the guy's gruff, manly voices were loud and his petite women voices were rather soft, so when the two were together the volume was either part time blasting to hear everything or part time regular but I'd miss half what the ladies said.

Great if you don’t mind that men do the female & children’s voices

I started listening to this audio book to improve my French listening comprehension. The story was interesting & funny at times. It was a bit weird that they have men doing the voices of the women & children & unfortunately the narrator was no Jim Dale, I’m sad to say. Nevertheless I’m glad that I listened to this audio book. It has improved my ability to understand conversational French & that was my goal.

Great learning tool

Fun story but needs authentic female voices. The story was easy to understand with excellent diction. The story flowed well with a surprise happy ending.
