She’s thrilled for the distraction because life is so good she’s practically forgotten about Jake Archer, the undercover US Marshal who accused her of murder then stole her heart three months ago.

Too bad he vanished without warning the second the case was closed.

When a customer is fatally poisoned at her family’s booth, and Jake reappears to point the finger at Mia—for the second time, she’s not sure which occurrence is more shocking. She does, however, know which makes her angrier, and it’s not the poor victim!

Now, Mia’s reprising her role as amateur sleuth and determined to clear her name— much to Jake’s dismay.

Maybe he should’ve thought of that before accusing her of murder—again!
