A poignant recollection of the lives and loves of 4 college roommates with a tragedy of indescribable horror as the main character's backstory. So beautiful. So sad.

be careful with sharp...people

This was a depressing, yet, beautifully told story of a boy that was put through hell, and the affects this has on him and the people who love him as he ages. Many trigger warnings for self harm, child abuse, rape, assault, mental abuse and self loathing talk/ mentality. I applaud the author for getting me to care for the characters, especially Jude, even though he didnt want anyone to care. More applause for getting me in my feelings, great writing 👏

This is by far one of the best books I have ever read, trauma, love, friendship and loss ! Beautifully written book.
