Love the narrators

I am a big fan of Greg and Michael. Tim slides right in there. Love this book it is one of my favorites can’t wait for the next audio

The narrators did a great job with the characters! can't wait for the next one!

Like wow...

I enjoyed this audio so much, I finished it in two days.

So here we have Bel, a very young mage who needs a familiar and ends up getting two, Nico and Garen. Nico is very fast and Garen is part gargoyle.

These three bond when the two familiars are protecting Bel while he works for MAD.

Things happen, creatures are fought, and Granddaddy is a demon.

While I loved this, I was still iffy at the age of Bel. He was a young 19 and both of these guys were over 30. But listening to it made it a bit better for me.

The narration was done by three different people, Greg Boudreaux, Michael Ferraiuolo, and Tim Paige.

Tim is new to me, but he sounded good, Greg B knocked it out of the park, and I was very sad that I did not get as much Michael as I wanted.

I cannot wait until the next book.

Not bad, but a little disjointed

First, if I could never hear kissing described as "tonguing each other" again, that would be appreciated.

You can tell this is the first in a series because the pacing is off. The peaceful scenes drive the story, so the action scenes are scarce and rushed with most delemas being solved by "summon grandpa and he can do it for us."

That griping aside - I adore the characters and world building, and am still excited to read more of this series. The narrators are top tier and I love the choice to give all three characters voices and narrative opportunities.

Good Read,. Great narration!!

The book was a good read, good storyline , sometimes the book dragged a bit.. the build up was so long that it just became tedious waiting for this trio to get it together. The chemistry between the characters was good and nicks energy was palpable. overall I enjoyed the book and look forward to future titles. The narration included my favourites. Job well done!!
