When a car accident kills two teens from opposite sides of the tracks, the aftermath threatens to tear a community apart. Listeners' emotions are torn between these two sympathetic characters as each fights her way through grief and pain - sometimes wisely and sometimes with choices that have the power to divide family, church, and even their small, sea-side town.

Forgiveness & New beginnings

It was a beautiful story that explained the hardships of loss/grief from 2 different perspectives ( rich vs poor). I loved how both main characters came to the knowledge of one another & eventually seen eachother for who they really are. The book flowed so well. The author did an awesome job of helping to capture the moment with every character. My favorite part was when the 2 opposing sides forgave one another & when the marriage of one couple was restored.
The narrator was awesome. She she made the book come to life.. I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.
