continuation of a great series can't wait for the next one. Sadly reaching the end of the series for now.

The epilogue of sort

So volume 9-12 are just volume the author never knew would be made and it sort of shows. The story is scatter around in its focus, half on Hino, the parents, more Yachi and then some Adachi and Shimamura even if it involve younger Shima sometime. While I don't mind it, it just not as engaging but I love the Christmas chapter.

The author once again is amazing.

I don't know why, but I just love this series. And once again, Analise Scarpaci does a fantastic job with the narration.

Analise Scarpaci reallly brought this series to life. I have read the series when there were only 8 volumes, and wanted to give the audiobooks a try now, years after. I originally planned to listen only until the volume I last read and pick up the books right after, but I ended up enjoying the narration so much that I decided to listen to the series first, then go back and reread it again afterwards! I love Analise switching voices / tones with the different characters, and I really love the way she voices Shimamura! Which is probably why I can’t stop listening to this.
