Given the current political and economic situation we are living through, we have all more than once asked ourselves: What would I do if I had the “power” to change things? How would I set this situation straight? What would I change? How would I redirect men—society as a whole? How would I guide them? How would I put them on the right course? What is the remedy?
This thought, well-intentioned at first sight, is nothing more than a display of utter naïveté and arrogance. The Divinity, being the only one who knows where we must go, is likewise the only one who knows how we must go. To presume to know better than God how to make things perfect as quickly as possible is delusional. The Art of correcting men—“Alchemy”—is, in truth, the Great Work of God.
This book—based on an ancient alchemical text of unknown authorship—will teach us why what happens to us happens (both on a personal and on a social level) and, if we wish to collaborate (and not tangle things further), will tell each reader, specifically, what they must correct, what they must change, what they must improve, what they must perfect, and, finally, what they must transmute.
