Aisling has endured the taunting of a group of mean girls whose parents belong to a coven that continually rejects her mother's efforts to join since she moved to their small city a few years earlier. Having graduated, it was her hope to be free of them. Sadly, caught unawares one night while walking home from the movies, the mean girls cast a spell to teleport her to another reality. Being novices, the girls bumbled the spell, leaving Aisling stranded in a land and time that she knows nothing about.

Meeting and being taken in by a high priestess of the witch community was not only her salvation, but the beginning of her journey of discovering not only love, but the powerful magic that she holds within herself, and a strength that she never knew existed.
