Harry Bodie has a famous grandmother, who wrote beloved children's books set in the delightful world of Underhill. Harry himself is a failing kids' television presenter whose every attempt to advance his career ends in self-sabotage. His family history seems to be nothing but an impediment.

This book rules. And Tchaikovsky is a pretty good narrator, although the parts where he missed a line and had to go back to rerecord it are a little too obvious.

Fantasy and horror are perfect mates

Without any spoilers- I love old-school fairy tales that leak horror from every hard won ‘happily ever after’ and this story blended in a modern twist. I love this author’s stories so much and he did a great job narrating as well. Thank you for putting this out into the world!

Adrian is a great narrator! his story is so original, while drawing on well-worn tropes. fantastic original story!

More dark comedy from Tchaikovsky pls!

It’s a rare book that has me cackling out loud. Captures the Covid pandemic so beautifully, layered metaphors, grim hilarity. In short? The perfect novel for folks like me.
Shocked to find Adrian narrates quite well!

Interesting story. Not his best, but better than most other current writers

Main problem was the sound editing. Mid sentence the voice would sound completely different due to I assume fixes and dubs. It’s hard to imagine what was wrong with the first takes that this seemed better. New respect for those that do this without being noticeable to the listener. Was amazed to find it was the author narrating, sounded like a professional voice actor
